Over the weekend of May 23-24, 2026 I will be running 2K, 5K, 10K AND 21.1K as part of a Team MEMC, a group of runners who raise money every year for pancreatic cancer research at The Ottawa Hospital - L'Hôpital d'Ottawa.

I'm running for my Dad, a cancer champion and community leader who wanted to make sure that those battling pancreatic cancer could get the type of care they needed in Ottawa and not have to travel like he did.

I'm running for Sindy Hooper, our team leader who spent 11 years fighting for better outcomes for those battling pancreatic cancer and who continues to inspire us all to Make Every Moment Count (#MEMC).

I'm running for everyone who deserves a championship team cheering them on to beat the crap out of cancer.
