I am a firm believer that camp is an experience that every child should get to have. Camp Sky Y is a place for kids to be kids and forget about the rest of the worries and responsibilities weighing on them in their everyday lives. It is an experience that fosters a sense of accomplishment, belonging, and character development. It also teaches kids the valuable social & emotional skills that have been hard to develop throughout the pandemic. 

My favorite thing in the world is seeing the transformations our youth experience during a week at camp. The shy and anxious kids on the first day leave with lifelong friendships and newly discovered talents and passions.
