As I enter Year 6 as the Executive Director of the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Family YMCA, I have feel immense sense of pride in what we have accomplished over the years. Awards, certifications and recognition are all nice. But what we've truly done is elevate people in our community by raising more than $500,000 to provide financial assistance for those who otherwise would not be able to utilize the YMCA. See, everyone on staff here cares about how the person next to them is doing. That is a lesson we try to pass down to anyone who walks through the door. The people who need that the most are those without a role model. Without a parent. Without a home. Without food. Without clothes. Those are also the ones who benefit most from the money we raise. So, please join me in helping those folks out. Our goal is to get to $125,000 overall. On this page, I'm trying to just reach $1,000.
