Story
With so many causes being aided by the Surrey Mark Festival fundraising, I have embarked upon a Walkathon which is going to take me around Sussex, Surrey and London Masonic Centres.
I have planned it so that my walks take me between 5 and 15 miles between centres, with of course refreshments stop-offs in along the way. My total is being tracked on Strava and so far has covered over 110 miles which is twice the distance the old crock cars have to travel in the London to Brighton rally, showing that this old crock is functioning well.
This Walkathon is only part of the massive fund-raising activities that Surrey Provincial Masons have been running over the last few years, but I am hoping that it is a significant contribution to this most important Festival.
SO I AM CALLING ON YOU TO DIG DEEP AND SUPPORT MY EFFORT
I look foward to your support.
Johm Hardy (Surrey Provincial Junior Warden)
