In less than 4 weeks, we’ll be running the Manchester 10k for a local charity called Mummy’s star! It is now estimated that 2 women a day are diagnosed with cancer in or around pregnancy. The number of families supported by mummy’s star has doubled in the last 18 months. Rising from 350 families in the first four years to over 350 in the last 18 months alone!!

This will be the first 10k Kieran has ever attempted and anybody that knows him will know he’s not exactly the running type so any donations received will be greatly appreciated.

Mummy's Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to supporting pregnancy through cancer and beyond. Your donation means that women diagnosed with any cancer during pregnancy or within a year of a birth are able to reach Mummy's Star and the specialised support they offer. They help families to meet others in a similar position, offer small grants to relieve some financial burden, give support to partners and the wider family, promote awareness and support research.
