In September 2026, I’ll be running the Berlin Marathon — my second Abbott World Marathon Major after London. Just over five months later, I’ll be taking on Tokyo.

Tokyo will be my third World Marathon Major and part of my wider goal to complete all six. For each marathon I want to support a different cause, and for Tokyo I’m proud to be raising money for Save the Children.

I’m currently deep into the Berlin training block, with the biggest training runs now underway. Once Berlin is done, the focus turns to Tokyo on 7 March 2027.

As a dad of three, Save the Children is a cause that means a lot to me. I feel strongly that every child should have the chance to feel safe, stay healthy, learn and build a better future, regardless of where they are born or the circumstances they grow up in.

Save the Children works in the UK and around the world, helping children stay safe, healthy and learning. I’ve also been learning more about the work my fundraising will support, including help for children and families affected by conflict, displacement, poverty and hunger.

My fundraising pledge for Tokyo is £4,750. It’s a big target, but one I’m fully committed to reaching.
