We are a CHILDRENS CHARITY based in Runcorn Old Town. Our aim is to offer play opportunities to Halton children of all abilities through the different services we provide. Our Charity Shop & “Scrapstore” in old Runcorn is vital in supporting our Children’s work. Any income raised from the shop provides vital funds to support the Children’s work we do in Halton. Children's Work - we deliver short breaks on behalf of Halton Borough Council (HBC). “R Clubs” is a Saturday Short Break service for children aged 4 to 18, with a wide range of additional needs, who are referred to us by the HBC's Children’s Disability Team. This is currently delivered every Saturday for 50 weeks per year across 4 venues throughout Halton. Children are referred via Children’s Disability Services. We provide Summer Holiday Play schemes to children aged 5 to 12 of all abilities in Runcorn & Widnes. There are 2 Play Schemes with 2 sessions per day at each. Additional support is planned and offered to children requiring 1:1 support. At our Charity Shop and ‘Scrapstore’, we sell NEW Art & Craft items at greatly reduced prices and a vast array of pre loved donated items. We have Meeting/Training rooms to hire, Office services- Photocopying & Laminating, as well as a wide range of Play Equipment for hire. We offer a FREE collection service and accept a large range of materials from Businesses/households/individuals and can deliver items purchased locally for a small fee.
