About us
Herne Bay is considered as the birthplace of organised Rink Hockey. Founded in 1910, and the Herne Bay Club is the world’s oldest club still in existence.
Throughout its 114 year history the club has been at the forefront of Roller Sport in England. It holds the record number of National Senior Cup wins 34. It has also won many other regional and national titles. Every generation has provided players for the National Teams.
In the last 5 years the club has been successful in becoming National Champions every year in at least one youth level and has been regional champions multiple time at every level. The club has also represented England 6 times in European Club Championships (Eurockey Cup).
We are currently continuing to rebuild our number and support after the impact of covid19 lockdown.
