About The Iris Network
The Iris Network, founded in 1905 as the Maine Institution for the Blind, is Maine's leading independent resource for visually impaired and blind individuals. We help people overcome the challenge of blindness and equip them to pursue success. Through university trained and certified professionals we offer a diversity of rehabilitation services, a low vision clinic, an access technology and employment services program and a 12-week intensive, immersive pre-vocational residency program.
Programs: Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, Low Vision Clinic, Access Technology and Employment Services, Iris Park Apartments, The Iris Network Rehabilitation Center.
