About Lees Wood Scout & Guide Activity Centre
Lees Wood is a small and intimate camp site and activity centre on a 67 acre site just 3 miles from Watford.
Jointly owned by local Scout and Guide groups, it provides a warm and friendly welcoming space for groups to explore the great outdoors, whether it’s older Scouts and Guides camping in a woodland glade, Cubs and Brownies staying away from home for the first time in our purpose-built accommodation blocks, or Rainbows and Beavers (the youngest age groups) spending the day outdoors discovering the nature trail, building dens, or challenging themselves with one of our onsite adventurous activities.
Lees Wood is run and maintained by volunteers from the local Scouting and Guiding community, and is open 40 weeks of the year for visits, camping and overnight stays.
