Leonardo Carer Support (formerly The Leonardo Trust) is an independent charity set up in 2001 based in Poole to help people across Dorset who are voluntary unpaid carers for relatives or friends. Being a carer is extremely hard work and can impact well-being, employment, finances, social life, and personal relationships. Our mission is to advocate, campaign, and collaborate with carers to provide the support they need and deserve. We stand with unpaid carers to make sure they have access to advice, support and opportunities for empowerment and quality of life. We give modest grant awards to recognised unpaid carers who live in Dorset.
