About The Manx Viking Project
The Manx Viking Project is a registered Charity (Number 1362) and our charitable objectives are:
To develop the Island’s first fully interactive Viking settlement on the Kattegat site in Sandygate.
To educate about and inspire the use of Viking and other traditional skills, practices, art and culture.
Facilitating and supporting other academic, artistic, cultural and community groups to use the facilities for educational purposes and for research to uncover ancient knowledge and preserve cultural heritage.
Fostering community development by involving community groups and members of the public in the project.
To promote the importance of living sustainably and in balance with the environment and nature.
