Our Mission Over the last 18 years, MAP has welcomed and supported asylum-seekers and refugees within the Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland area. We aim to reduce isolation and to meet basic needs, to enable healthy living, meaningful activity, and social opportunities. By so doing we hope to create a sense of community, and to empower those we meet to develop their own lives and to integrate into the local community.
