Our independent charitable foundation (registered charity number 1048073) supports research, development, education and patient care in heart and lung medicine. It causes unquantifiable misery and almost every family has a member, friend or colleague who has died or suffered from heart and lung disease. The Foundation is able to support the relief of this burden of ill health by helping those who reach out and touch the lives of many people of all ages.
