OITIJ-JO: Empowering Communities
OITIJ-JO promotes Bengali arts and crafts while fostering community, collaboration, and participation. Based in east London, the organisation supports underemployed women, especially from the Bangladeshi community, through meaningful training and creative opportunities.

OITIJ-JO, established in 2013, set out and continues to work to increase representation, visibility and capacitating British Bangladeshi creative talent particularly for women. These goals are activated intersectionally with individuals, community and the creative sector across all areas of OITIJ-JO’s work.
