January Squat Challenge
Campaign by The Eve Appeal (RCN 1091708)
Take on 60 squats every day throughout January and raise money to help prevent gynaecological cancers.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.

I wanted to share that I am taking part in the January Squat Challenge in aid of The Eve Appeal to help raise money that could prevent gynaecological cancers.

Unfortunately, gynaecological cancer has had an impact on our family. Ovarian cancer cut short the life of our mum, Christine Sullivan, denying my boys and their cousins precious time with a Grandma who adored them and leaving a huge gap in the lives of myself and my siblings.

Having had my own issue with gynaecological health earlier this year (thankfully now resolved but is there anything more degrading and painful than a hysteroscopy even when done by the kindest and most considerate of consultants) I felt compelled to take part in this challenge even though, as you all know, it’s not really my thing!!

So please help me find my inner Davina and support me in my quest to raise a few pennies for The Eve Appeal by my doing 60 Squats a day for the whole of January - the boys will be monitoring me so Quality Control will be rigourously deployed!!

Every day in the UK 60 women and people with gynae organs are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer. An early diagnosis can save lives. Your donation could help fund research into better and more effective ways of diagnosing gynaecological cancers.

Thank you!
