This year, I’m fundraising for the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF)! The MRF is the largest independent organization devoted to melanoma, supporting innovative research, educating patients and physicians and advocating for those impacted by melanoma.

This April, I’m running in the Eugene Marathon (April 25-27, 2025) with Team MRF to raise awareness and critical funds for melanoma research. Every dollar raised supports advancements that bring hope to patients and their families.

In September 2021, I lost my mother to this dreadful cancer. Scans in April of 2021 cleared for a very painful surgery, only to have her liver and lungs covered up with more melanoma cells by August.

In November 2024, I watched a friend lose her husband exactly the same way.

It's a very aggressive cancer and every dollar counts.
