This November, I’ll be running 26.2 miles in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds for Summer Search, an organization dedicated to expanding opportunity for students of color from low-income communities.

Summer Search partners with students from their sophomore year of high school through their first year of post-secondary education, providing long-term mentorship and transformative experiences that help them succeed in school, careers, and life.

Why This Cause Matters to Me

Growing up, I was fortunate to have a strong support network—many of whom may be reading this now. From navigating high school and college to landing internships and traveling the world, I had people in my corner who opened doors and encouraged me to explore. These experiences shaped my journey in countless ways, and I’ve never taken them for granted.

I've now been given the opportunity to pay that forward.

Summer Search is creating those same opportunities for students who haven’t historically had access to them, and I'm so proud and excited to support that mission.
