Study abroad experiences are life-changing for students, yet many never dare to dream of participating due to the financial investment required. This year, a small group of Oakton students are planning to studying in Ghana at a cost of nearly $8,000 each, which includes airfare, tuition, housing, meals, local transportation, and incidental expenses. These students are working hard to identify financial resources to make this trip a reality.

Please help these students afford the opportunity to study at the University of Ghana for 3-1/2 weeks in June 2024. Their experience will include visiting historical sites and engaging in dozens of cultural activities to expand their understanding of history, culture, and community in Ghana.
