Story
This September, I’m joining an inspiring fundraising campaign for Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) as part of Give More 24!, a powerful 24-hour giving day benefiting nonprofits across Southwest Washington.
NWABA provides life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity for children, youth, and adults who are blind and visually impaired—and I’ve seen firsthand how deeply their work matters. Whether it’s the confidence of a child riding a tandem bike for the first time, or the pride of an athlete crossing a finish line, NWABA helps people thrive.
👉 Here’s why I’m fundraising for NWABA:
I heard about NWABA through my best friend. When I volunteered for my first event, the staff was so kind and instructive; I instantly felt comfortable in that environment. I have had so many opportunities to meet new people, athletes and other volunteers, and I am excited to continue my journey with NWABA!
