Story
Southwest Washington—You’ve Always Shown Up
For years, the SW Washington community has stood beside its nonprofits during Give More 24!, showing extraordinary generosity and belief in local causes. Now that Give More 24! is a statewide initiative, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) is turning to our community once more—to rally behind the children, youth, and adults who are blind or visually impaired right here at home.
Rooted in Our Community Since 2007
NWABA planted its roots in SW Washington in 2007, creating opportunities through sports and physical activity for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Yet, most children with visual impairments in the U.S. have never had the chance to ride a bike, run on a track, or join their school’s PE class. We are here to change that.
More Than Sports—Changing Lives
Our programs are about more than physical activity. They help participants build confidence, find independence, connect with community, and develop lifelong skills that improve quality of life. Every single program and service we provide is offered at no cost to participants and their families.
The Need is Greater Than Ever
Statewide funding reductions mean your support is critical right now. And thanks to a matching donor, every dollar you give will be doubled—instantly multiplying your impact.
You Can Make a Difference Today
Your generosity will ensure that more children, youth, and adults can experience the joy of sport, the pride of achievement, and the power of inclusion. Let’s show the rest of the state what SW Washington is made of—let’s rally for our athletes.
