This year for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, I’m running in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa—an organization that’s truly close to my heart.

As many of you know, I sit on the BBBSO Board, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful mentorship can be. It’s about showing up, listening, and helping a young person feel seen and supported. The kind of connection makes all the difference.

Last year, BBBSO matched over 600 youth with mentors who guided them through tough times and helped them believe in their future. While I’ve run this race before, this is the first time I’m doing it with my CIC team—and It feels extra special to bring we work I do and the causes I care about together like this.
