This Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, we're lacing up our runners in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa (BBBSO)—an organization that’s changing lives, one mentorship at a time.

In 2023 alone , BBBSO matched 600+ youth in Ottawa with mentors who helped them feel seen, supported, and confident in their futures. These aren’t just programs—they’re life-altering connections that ripple through families, schools, and communities.

Mentorship matters—and we’re running to prove it.

Our founder and CEO, Carrie Irvine, serves on the BBBSO Board and knows firsthand how mentorship empowers the next generation. While she is no stranger to this race, it’s the first time we’re running as a CIC team—and we’d love for you to be part of it!
