Team SIA are on the Superhero Triathlon 2026, to help raise vital funds for people affected by spinal cord injury to live fulfilled lives.
Story
Ten years ago, my life changed overnight. I had sepsis due to a mass on my spine and was left with a life-changing, incomplete spinal cord injury.
During my journey of adjusting to living life with a SCI, the Spinal Injuries Association has provided invaluable support and guidance, not just for myself but for my family, friends, and care providers.
As a charity, they rely heavily on fundraising events to ensure this support is available, regardless of where individuals are on their journey.
I have decided to mark my 10th anniversary by undertaking the Spinal Injuries Association Superhero Triathlon on 15th August at Dorney Lake Windsor.
I would really appreciate it if everyone could donate even the smallest amount via my GoFundMe as it all mounts up, and I know from my own experience what a difference the support they provide really makes, and none of us know whether ourselves or someone we care about may need this in the future. #Not all superheroes wear capes!
