Story
Ten years ago, Lynne’s life changed overnight. She had sepsis due to a mass on her spine and was left with a life-changing, incomplete spinal cord injury.
During her journey of adjusting to living life with a SCI, the Spinal Injuries Association has provided invaluable support and guidance, not just for her but for family, friends, and care providers.
As a charity, they rely heavily on fundraising events to ensure this support is available, regardless of where individuals are on their journey.
So to mark her 10th anniversary we are undertaking the Spinal Injuries Association Superhero Triathlon on 15th August at Dorney Lake Windsor, which also just happens to be celebrating its 10th Anniversary of the event first being held.
We would really appreciate it if everyone could donate even the smallest amount via our JustGiving link. It all mounts up, and we know from our own experiences what a difference the support they provide really makes, and none of us know whether ourselves or someone we care about may need this in the future. #Not all superheroes wear capes!
