Story
Each year, a dedicated community of friends, colleagues, and tree lovers comes together for something extraordinary: The Britton Fund Ride. What began as a simple idea—pedaling for a cause—has grown into a beloved annual tradition of challenge, camaraderie, and purpose. Riders push themselves not just for the thrill of the journey, but to support research and education that strengthen the health of our urban and community forests across the West.
In partnership with the WCISA 92nd Annual Conference and Tradeshow, the 19th Annual Britton Fund Ride will take place on Monday, April 27, 2027, just outside the breathtaking entrance to Yosemite National Park, California.
This will be my 7th Britton Fund ride. At 71 years old and with my prostate cancer in remission I'm up for the challenge of riding my bike from Sacramento to Yosemite (189 miles) to participate the Britton Fund ride. I ride for the trees. Please be generous in your support. Thank you.
