Story
On August 9th, I’ll be walking 5km to raise funds for a life-changing water project in the village of Ziasso, Burkina Faso.
Ziasso face extreme poverty and a harsh climate. With droughts lasting up to nine months each year, families are forced to rely on polluted rivers and distant wells, putting their health and safety at risk. Women and girls often walk hours each day just to collect water, missing school and opportunities in the process.
By supporting my walk, you’ll help bring clean water to Ziasso by funding two boreholes and five latrines with handwashing stations. This will give the community safe, sustainable water right where they live.
