I am proud to be associated with OMRA Shelter Corporation, which provides monthly rental subsidies to qualifying refugees and asylum seekers in Ottawa.

We also offer English tutors and create opportunities for newcomers to enjoy some very Canadian activities, like picnics and canoe rides.

In 2024, OMRA distributed over $160,000 in monthly rental subsidies to 47 households! As rents have increased, OMRA's monthly subsidies have increased. This is a crucial time for our community as we strive to support those who are most vulnerable.
