Story
I am supporting Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) because I believe in their mission to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
Being blind or visually impaired creates obstacles that can feel impossible to overcome, such as finding sustainable employment, participating in sports and activities, and connecting with others. When introduced to physical activity and sports, these individuals build confidence and self-esteem, find independence and become part of a community.
On August 12th, I will be guide running and tandem cycling with seven NWABA athletes participating in the Columbia River Triathlon alongside their sighted peers. They have been training hard to get ready for this competition.
Help me cheer them onto the finish line by making a donation to NWABA to support these and other athletes who are blind and visually impaired.
