At Futuro, player development goes far beyond the game. While we train athletes to excel on the field, we are equally committed to helping them grow into confident, capable, and compassionate leaders off it.

Social competence — including leadership, teamwork, and responsibility — is a cornerstone of the Futuro program. One of the most powerful ways our athletes build these skills is by giving back to the community that supports them.

Our Impact with the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa

Futuro is proud of its ongoing partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa (BGCO), an organization that provides safe spaces, mentorship, and life‑changing opportunities for young people across our city.

In 2025 alone, our athletes and families:

-Raised more than $4,000 in support of BGCO programs

-Wrapped and delivered hundreds of holiday gifts to local families in need

Next Steps for Community Engagement

Futuro athletes, friends, and families are coming together to run, walk, wheel, or move during Tamarack Race Weekend, raising funds in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa.
