I feel very lucky to have gained a ballot place for the London Marathon on 21st April 2024 and I wanted to raise some money for a local charity as several of my friends have asked who I am running for. However, having run a marathon before I wanted to set myself a real challenge and take on my first ultra too, so two weeks later on 4th May 2024 I'm running 50k from Horsham to Brighton in Run to the Sea. That's definitely worth sponsoring me for!

The charity I have chosen to fundraise for is Jigsaw South East, they are a small, independent charity who are based in East Grinstead and support children and young people through the death of a loved one. I know from so many local families how invaluable their support has been and I know how much the funds raised will mean to Jigsaw.

The unique service they provide is tailored to meet the needs of the families they support, whether in person, on the phone or online. Jigsaw helps families cope with their grief and rebuild their lives, one piece at a time.
