We're a Hunger Hero!

We've teamed up with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore to ensure that children and families have consistent access to healthy, nutritious meals during the summer months when school is out. Hunger Heroes, a food drive and fundraising competition, was established to address this meal gap. In the area the Foodbank serves, 1 in 13 people are projected to be food insecure, which equates to over 30,000 children.

This year, Hunger Heroes is hoping to raise $70,000 and 4,000 pounds (144,000 meals) in 2024.
