IES is honored to be part of the Hunger Heroes Justice League once again with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Hunger Heroes ensures that children and families have consistent access to healthy, nutritious meals during the summer months when school is out. In the area the Foodbank serves, 1 in 13 people are projected to be food insecure, which equates to over 30,000 children. Sometimes getting a little help from someone can be a lifeline to pull you through so IES would like to encourage everyone to make a donation, big or small.

For every $1 donation, you’re providing 2 meals for our neighbors in need.
