Hello hello!

This summer, I’m excited to join the Boston Public Library Fund’s Summer Readathon: Brush Up Your Imagination—Color Your Reading! I have recently re-ignited my love for reading - and have read 68 books (and counting) this year, and am in 3 book clubs, one of which I co-founded!

My goal is to read 25 books during the Readathon and I would love your support! I am asking my sponsors to commit $2 for every book/audiobook I read or listen to over the course of the Readathon (ex. I read 25 books, then $50 is donated). Don't worry, I do have some parameters for the books/audiobooks:

1. All of them have to be new books, no re-reads.

2. Audiobooks must be a minimum of 6 hours and 30 minutes long.

3. Books must be a minimum of 250 pages.

4. Over 50% of the books/audiobooks I read must be borrowed from the Boston Public Library using my library card.

I wanted to use my reading to support the BPL Fund with helping Youth Summer Reading programs at the Boston Public Library. From story times and Art Workshops to Summer Reading Bingo and K-Days - BPL provides transformative programs and activities for children of all ages. Reading is essential for childhood development, it helps with language acquisition, communication skills, cognitive function, and improves mental health. Public libraries not only ensure that children of all ages and demographics have free access to books and media, but they also provide access to resources, learning opportunities, and they serve as community hubs.

How It Works:

I Read – I’m challenging myself to read as many books (or pages) as possible this summer.

You Donate – Your support on this page—no matter how big or small—makes all the difference.

We Make a Difference – Together, we’ll help the Library provide more learning resources, fund essential services, and brighten our community with knowledge, inspiration, and creativity.
