Story
On June 21st, I’ll be walking 5km to raise funds for a life-changing water project in the village of Ouena, Burkina Faso.
Ouena is home to more than 20,000 people who face extreme poverty and a harsh climate. With droughts lasting up to nine months each year, families are forced to rely on polluted rivers and distant wells—putting their health and safety at risk. Women and girls often walk hours each day just to collect water, missing school and opportunities in the process.
By supporting my walk, you’ll help drill two boreholes in Ouena, giving the community a sustainable source of clean water close to home.
Thank you for supporting my walk!
