I serve on the board of directors for the local non-profit Family & Children's Service of Ithaca, an organization dedicated to supporting, promoting and strengthening the well-being of individuals and families in Tompkins County by providing high-quality, accessible mental health care and related social services.

F&CS is proud to present their Sixth Annual Cardboard Boat Race. The event will set sail on Sunday, September 8 from 1 PM - 4 PM at the Ithaca Yacht Club. All proceeds support their mission. This unique Tompkins County event features a boat race with teams building cardboard and duct tape boats to sail across the harbor - it is a blast!
