Story
This year I turned 50 which has brought with it lots of reflection and intentional living. In addition to some personal and professional goals such as hiking Mount Kilimanjaro with my son Henry and building a new business from the ground up, I'm committing some of my time and energy to a cause that has been near and dear to my family for over a decade.
This October, I will be participating in the inaugural Tour de Ghana, a 500-mile motorbike journey across Ghana to raise funds for Self-Help International. Self Help's mission is to alleviate hunger by helping people help themselves.
My goal is to raise $20,000 to support life-changing programs for rural communities with a focus on:
Empowering women and girls through microloans and business training
Fighting malnutrition with school feeding and maternal health programs
Improving agriculture with training and input loans
Promoting clean water and sanitation

I’m inviting friends and colleagues to join me in this effort with a tax-deductible donation.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to empower others with dignity. If you feel moved to support this mission, I would be deeply grateful.
Sincerely,
