As a personal trainer, health coach, and nutrition coach, my life's work revolves around empowering others to embrace their strength and vitality. But nothing prepared me for the journey I embarked upon when I became an ostomate.

Facing ostomy surgery was one of the most challenging experiences of my life. It tested not only my physical resilience but also my emotional fortitude. In those moments of uncertainty and vulnerability, I discovered the profound importance of support, education, and community.

That's why I'm honored to serve as an ambassador for Ostomy Canada Society. This incredible organization has been a beacon of hope and a source of invaluable resources for over 150,000 Canadians living with an ostomy . Their commitment to improving the lives of ostomates is unwavering, and their programs have made a tangible difference in countless lives.

Ostomy Visitor Program: Connecting new ostomates with trained volunteers who provide guidance, share experiences, and offer emotional support during the transition .

Youth Camp: A transformative experience for young ostomates, fostering confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships .

Educational Initiatives: Webinars, workshops, and publications that educate both ostomates and the broader community, breaking down stigmas and promoting understanding .
