Chillin for Charity – Presented by UNBC JDC West

Each November, the incredible team from UNBC JDC West takes part in one of the coldest — and kindest — fundraisers of the year: Chillin for Charity. With hearts full of purpose and courage to match, students, coaches, faculty, and community members take the plunge into an icy pool of water — all in support of local causes that make a real difference across Northern BC.

This year, we are helping to raise money towards a new Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) machine for the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC). This machine will help with diagnosing and detecting stages of lung cancer for patients. Our Chillin' for Charity event will focus on raising money specifically for this important project—it's a big step forward for the whole region!
