⛴️ Flash Mob by the Bay! World Down Syndrome Day in SF 🌁
Get ready to dance! We are planning a massive Kidz Groove Flash Mob outside the iconic San Francisco Ferry Building! We chose this spot to make it easy for families coming from all over the Bay via BART or Ferry to join the fun.
Why we dance:
People with Down syndrome are born with 3 copies of chromosome 21 (instead of two). That’s why we celebrate on 3/21! They are awesome, and they deserve to live long, healthy, and vibrant lives.
Your donation supports a dual mission:
Global Health: It funds the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, which provides life-saving resources like the Adult Medical Care Guidelines. These are currently being translated into multiple languages to help families worldwide!
Global Joy: It directly supports Kidz Groove’s Free Workshop Programs in the Philippines, ensuring neurodivergent dancers across the ocean have free access to the arts.
Help us turn the Ferry Building plaza into a celebration of inclusion. Donate today to keep our dancers moving and our community healthy!
