Story
This year, I’m joining Tour de Ghana — a journey across Ghana on motorized tricycles to meet families supported by Self-Help International. I'm also raising $10,000 to ensure more families get the tools they need to thrive.
Families like Ayor's, pictured above.
Ayor is a petty trader and mother of six. She recalls being fully prepare to go to market with her wares, only to wait for hours because no transport was available.
With a $1,900 in-kind loan, Ayor purchased a tricycle — and everything changed. “I danced and screamed with happiness when I received my tricycle,” Ayor shared.
Today, she has a reliable means of transporting her goods to the market on time. Ayor supports his family, her neighbors use the tricycle too, and her entire village has renewed hope.
I’m riding for families like Ayor's. Will you help me reach my goal?
