Story
Self-Help International’s Tour de Ghana is more than a journey — it’s an opportunity to witness the power of community-led change. Riding motorized tricycles across Ghana, participants visit the very communities we serve and meet families whose lives have been transformed.
Families like Ayor's, pictured above.
Ayor is a petty trader and mother of six. She recalls being fully prepare to go to market with her wares, only to wait for hours because no transport was available.
With a $1,900 in-kind loan, Ayor purchased a tricycle — and everything changed. “I danced and screamed with happiness when I received my tricycle,” Ayor shared.
Today, she has a reliable means of transporting her goods to the market on time. Ayor supports his family, her neighbors use the tricycle too, and her entire village has renewed hope.
Your support makes this possible. All donations received will go towards Self-Help programs in Ghana.
Let’s do something that matters — together.
