Story
Youth homelessness has reached a crisis point. Each year, between 1,200 and 1,400 young people experience homelessness in Ottawa alone—with many more at risk across our region.
United Way East Ontario plays a critical role by convening partners, leveraging research, and investing in prevention-focused programs that work at a systemic level.
By supporting me to help end youth homelessness, we are providing at-risk youth with:
Support to build a stable life with mental health counselling, school, and job skills
Help building positive connections with family, friends, and a community they can count on
Basic needs such as affordable housing and food
Join me and change the trajectory of life for at risk youth.
