Wow! OMRA's Third Annual Race! Thank you to all who supported me and other OMRA runners in 2024.

OMRA provides monthly rental subsidies to qualifying refugees and asylum seekers in Ottawa. In 2024, OMRA distributed over $160,000 in monthly rental subsidies to 47 households!

OMRA also offers English tutors and creates opportunities for newcomers to enjoy some very Canadian activities, like picnics and canoe rides.

This year I will be accompanied by some of the OMRA newcomer families and by my very speedy 8, 7, 5 and 4 year old grandchildren. (I walk and talk and they run their hearts out, but we all cross the finish line!)
