Building Goodness Foundation is excited to partner with Seeds for Progress on a pilot project in the community of Sampaquisoy, Guatemala. Seeds for Progress is a non-profit organization committed to transforming lives through quality education in coffee communities within Central America. They work very closely with the Guatemala Ministry of Education to improve public schools in these coffee communities. They have asked Building Goodness Foundation for help improving the infrastructures of up to 24 public schools.

The school in the village of Sampaquisoy is the first in what will hopefully be a series of projects with this partner. Building Goodness Foundation has begun work on a new bathroom facility that will provide clean, functional facilities for almost 200 students a year.

This fundraising campaign will offset travel expenses for BGF volunteers who travel to Guatemala to work on this project. Everyone deserves an education in a quality school, and you can help us do that!

I will be traveling with an amazing group of volunteers to help with the bathroom rough-in plumbing and will be using my construction management experience to help line up and organize the next steps of the project.
