Story
This December, Rich and I are taking on HYROX London ExCel to support people living with cancer for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This challenge is particularly important for us as Rich was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2025 at the age of 45. Luckily he was proactive about his prostate care as his father had also had prostate cancer. He had no symptoms so it was a bit of a shock. Luckily he got the treatment and support he needed and has recovered well. We are very grateful.
We always do things as a team and support each other so we are taking on this challenge to raise money for Macmillan. Cancer affects more than one person - it impacts partners, families and friends too. This is our way of giving back and helping others in their cancer journey.
Macmillan provides vital practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer and their loved ones, making an enormous difference during some of life’s toughest moments.
I have pledged to raise £400 and so has Rich so together we will raise at least £800!! Your support would be most welcome and appreciated!!
We have survived the cancer journey, now we just need to make it through the Hyrox journey!
Thank you ❤️
