Story
Rhys loves engineering challenges and having the time to create unique solutions. His middle school team won at the state level and we all so proud of them!
His team created a solution to move weights along a high wire all as a part of a very cool circus-style scenario. They solved the engineering, created the props and the costumes, wrote a script and infused all of it with really witty humor!
Will you help them raise enough money to compete at the Global Destination Imagination competition in Kansas City this May? All levels of donation are helpful as they reach for the stars!!
Rhys thanks you for your support!!
For more about DI:
Destination Imagination is a project based, student-driven program that teaches kids to be innovative problem solvers. Using STEAM, teams of students collaborate, think outside the box, and create unique solutions to one of seven different challenges in preparation for a fun, problem-solving competition. Since starting the program at GCS, our teams have had several successes in the State and Global competitions. This school year, the program has expanded to the Upper School and retained three middle school teams and a Rising Stars Primary Building team. We anticipate having teams make it to compete at the State and Global level once again!
We are so proud of our DI Dragons; help us make sure they can show off all they have learned and achieved in front of larger audiences at the State and Global levels!!
