Keven & Andrea's Story:

Every afternoon, 11-year-old Keven heads to Study Stars, the afterschool program at his CHW community. "I like coming here because I get to learn new things," he says.

His mother, Andrea, has watched him transform. "Before Study Stars, Keven would get distracted in class. Now his behavior and grades have improved so much. He's more confident, and we're so proud of him."

As hardworking parents of five, Andrea and her husband rely on Study Stars for support. "We don't speak English very well, so having staff who can help our children has made a huge difference."

The family also participates in healthy food distributions through CHW's Health and Wellness programs. "CHW doesn't just give us housing—they give us support, opportunity, and a community. We feel like family here," Andrea shares.

Keven dreams of serving his community as a police officer - a future built on the foundation he's found through CHW.
