In July 2026, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in support of CODE, a Canadian charity dedicated to advancing children’s literacy across Africa. CODE partners with local educators and communities to provide books, train teachers and improve access to education. Their work helps children learn to read and write - opening doors to opportunity, confidence and lifelong learning.

This climb is deeply personal. In 2022, I attempted Kilimanjaro and made it to Stella Point, just short of the final summit at Uhuru Peak. I did not make it to the very top, but the mountain stayed with me. I am returning not only to finish what I started, but to once again make the journey count for something bigger than myself.

The funds we raise will support CODE’s literacy projects in Tanzania, helping more children gain the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.
