TEAM ROB 2016 — 10 years ago, this photo was taken at our very first race after Rob passed.

The blonde woman in the middle, wearing the red plaid tank, is Pat. She worked alongside Rob at Flowers Talk Tivoli for many years, but more than that, she was a true and lasting friend to our family. We love her dearly.

This past November, we lost Pat to cancer. It’s comforting to imagine that somewhere, she’s reunited with Rob, sharing laughs and enjoying a few beers together.

This one’s for you, Pat.

Rob Gough was an incredible person - a loving husband, father, a beloved son and brother, and a friend to many. In 2013 when his cancer returned, TEAM ROB was created to bring together family and friends to celebrate the amazing care he received at The Ottawa Hospital and the research that was helping to extend his life.

The Ottawa Hospital gave us an amazing gift - 5 extra years with Rob. We got invaluable time that we had to be together as a family that we will forever cherish, because of this excellent care and research.

Rob contributed to cancer research by participating in 5 clinical trials and being the inspiration behind Team Rob - he never gave up hope that cancer could be cured and our Team won't either.

This is our 14th year fundraising for cancer research. We are committed to doing our part to honour Rob and his legacy to fight cancer.
